RES, LLC - Do It Yourself (DIY) Systems

DIY systems are for people who have the skills, desire, and aptitude to do it yourself. Basic solar water heating and PV systems can be successfully installed by people with basic carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical skills, or by people who know friends and relatives that have the aforementioned skills and you just provide the refreshments.

Our DIY systems include all the following:

   All solar equipment

   Detailed drawings, stamped by professional engineer

   Sequential step-by-step installation instructions

   Startup and maintenance procedures

   Complete material list for items the owner will supply

   Pictures of each part

   Numbered parts and corresponding lists for all items supplied by RES, LLC

   Live phone support for system start up or any installation questions

   This provides the home owner with cost savings and the reward of doing it yourself

Our DIY systems consist of:

¨    Solar water heating with our drain-back system. This will provide annually 50-70% of the home hot water needs

¨ Solar PV electric systems for grid tied and non-grid tied systems, certified electrical inspection required, experienced electrical contractor highly recommended

¨    Biomass, wind and solar combination systems for water and home heating

¨    Off-grids systems

¨    Customized systems to fit your needs
